Our Hoyas put their week off to good use, with a strong performance against St. John’s highlighted by a solid team defensive effort and balanced scoring, with six Hoyas in double figures. Next up, the DePaul Blue Demons and our Annual Donor Appreciation Event this Saturday (details below)! Our coaching staff has been very pleased with the team’s attitude and effort in practice. We’re far from a finished product at this point but we have consistently improved each week. The environment in practice has been awesome – there is a lot of “chirping” between the guys in blue and the guys in gray! Back To Work!

We welcomed our student-athletes back for the spring on Monday, January 12, and since then, they’ve been hard at work before the sun rises, conditioning and lifting three days a week. Over the last month, there’s been an emphasis placed on proper running mechanics, footwork, change of direction and explosiveness out of the blocks. As a staff, we’ve already noticed gains in each category and have enjoyed watching our team progress. Continue reading
