While I cannot predict the outcome of the game, the one thing I know for certain is that our team will compete extremely hard. We beat Marquette 10-9 earlier this year so I am sure we will be facing a motivated group. Our challenge is to execute our plan without getting caught up in the emotion of the game. Continue reading

Kevin Warne

As a senior captain, Ryan Busch has helped propel Georgetown Baseball to 18 wins on the season, in the heart of the BIG EAST Conference schedule. In the 2015 season, Ryan has 35 hits and has scored 28 runs (3 home runs), while tallying 15 RBIs. An art major at Georgetown, Ryan was also named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team, as well as being an Academic All-BIG EAST selection in the 2013-14 academic year. Spring training has wrapped up for us here on the Hilltop, and our home exhibition against Duke tied it up nicely with a bow. Duke provided a very young, but very athletic and talented matchup for us. While we didn’t play poorly in the first half, we managed to concede two goals on two shots to go into halftime in a hole. Brian Wiese

As a senior captain, Caroline Tarzian has made a tremendous impact on the Georgetown Women’s Lacrosse team in her four years on the Hilltop. Caroline is a three year All-BIG EAST honoree and currently leads the Hoyas this season in goals (16) and assists (7). In 2014, Caroline started all 20 games for the Hoyas, leading the team in points and assists, while ranking second in goals with 29. Let’s go In the Huddle with Caroline! Continue reading

Building Camaraderie

The camaraderie at the boathouse and on the team is awesome to watch. We’ve had many practices now with all three varsity crews just duking it out for inches or seats in ways we haven’t had before. I’ve told the team I’ve been waiting almost four years now to see this level of intensity and depth. We need to see it more. I am deeply grateful for the hard work done by my assistant coaches, Steve Full and Jen Forbes, to help recruit and retain great people. Continue reading
