2018 Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic
The Hoyas are headed to Montego Bay for the 2018 Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic this November.
On Friday, November 16, the Hoyas will take on Loyola Marymount at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday, November 18, the Hoyas will play South Florida at 12:00 pm. Other teams participating in the Classic include Campbell, Austin Peay, Ohio, Central Connecticut State, and Florida A&M.
Friday, November 16
11:30 am – Austin Peay vs. Central Connecticut State
2:00 pm – FAMU vs. Campbell
4:30 pm – Ohio vs. South Florida
7:00 pm – Georgetown vs. Loyola Marymount
Sunday, November 18
12:00 pm – Georgetown vs. South Florida
2:00 pm – Austin Peay vs. Campbell
6:30 pm – Ohio vs. Loyola Marymount
9:00 pm – FAMU vs. Central Connecticut State

Ticket Pickup
For fans who purchased tickets through the Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office, there are three ways to pick up your tickets:
- 10 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.: At the Jamaica Classic hospitality desk in the main lobby of the Hyatt Ziva
- 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: At our welcome event (see information below)
- 6 p.m. onward: at will call at the Montego Bay Convention Centre
A photo ID will be required for pickup.
Georgetown University Fan Welcome Event
Join Hoya Fans in Montego Bay for a fan welcome event before we watch the Men’s Basketball team take on the Loyola Marymount Lions at 7pm.
Event Information: Friday, November 16, 4:00-6:00 pm at the Hyatt Ziva Fez On-Resort Venue
Please join your fellow Hoyas for a pre-game welcome event from 4 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Fez bar in the Hyatt Ziva. The Fez is an outdoor bar located on the second floor above BiteZ Deli. To get to the Fez, please take the outdoor staircase located directly across from Rose Hall Photography and BiteZ Deli. Alternatively, an elevator is available through the doors next to The Cigar Shop.
Heavy appetizers and beverages will be served. No RSVP is required and all are welcome; please spread the word to fellow Hoya fans!
All guests who purchased the Hyatt Ziva travel package will have access to buses that run every 15-30 minutes to the Montego Bay Convention Centre. Hyatt guests who did not purchase the travel package but who wish to purchase ground transportation purchase it at the Jamaica Classic hospitality desk at the main lobby of the Hyatt Ziva. The cost is $100/person for the entire weekend.
