2019 2K Empire Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project at Madison Square Garden

Your Georgetown Hoyas are set to play in the 2019 2K Empire Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project at Madison Square Garden next season, November 21-22, 2019! Other teams in the field include Duke, Cal, and Texas. On Thursday, November 21, Georgetown will take on Texas at 7:00 pm, followed by Duke vs. Cal at approximately 9:00 pm.

On Friday, November 22, the winners of Thursday’s games will play at approximately 7:00 pm, immediately following a consolation game to be played at 5:00 pm.

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets for Thursday’s two games and Friday’s two games must be purchased separately (each day’s ticket will include both games being played that day, and the Hoyas are guaranteed to play in one game on Thursday and one game on Friday).

Fans looking to sit near/with other Hoya fans are encouraged to purchase in Sections 5-10, 107-112 and 114-117..

Tickets Purchased through Georgetown Athletics

For the 2K Empire Classic, Georgetown’s will call table will be located in the hallway at Tower A. To find the will call table, enter MSG through the main 7th Avenue entrance. Once in the box office lobby, make a left and walk through the double doors. The will call table will be in the hallway.

Each day, the will call table will open one hour before the first game in the session (on Thursday, it will open at 6 p.m.; on Friday, it will open at 4 p.m.). The will call table will remain open until the end of the first half of the Georgetown game. You will have to show your GOCard to pick up your student ticket(s).

You will have to pick up your ticket(s) each day. If you have tickets for Friday, you will not be able to pick them up on Thursday.

All tickets include both games of the doubleheader each day. Thursday’s ticket includes Georgetown vs. Texas at 7 p.m. and Duke vs. Cal at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday’s ticket includes the consolation game at 5 p.m. and the championship game at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Pre- and Post-Game Events

Please join the Hoya Hoop Club for a pre-game event on Thursday, November 21 at 5 p.m. at Georgetown’s Official Location for New York Hoyas, 5th and MAD (located at 7 E. 36th Street, New York, NY).

The Hoop Hoop Club will be back at 5th and MAD on Friday, with a pre-game event if the team plays at 7 p.m., or a post-game event if the team plays at 5 pm.
