Hours

The Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office is open Monday – Friday from 10 AM to 4:00 PM. If you need assistance, please email the ticket office at hoyatickets@georgetown.edu.

Ticket Policy

All tickets are subject to availability and all sales are final. Except in the case of event cancellation or postponement, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

In the case of event cancellation or postponement, purchaser may contact the Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office to inquire about possible refunds or exchanges. Authorized refunds/exchanges may only be available for a limited time and ticket stubs/sales receipts may be required in order to receive the refund/exchange. Tickets to events that are played as scheduled, even in the case of inclement weather, are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Unless indicated otherwise, ticket prices include all applicable taxes.

On-Campus Facilities Spectator Information

Children

Children under three years of age are not required to have a ticket for admission (provided they sit on an adult’s lap).  Discounted tickets are available for children ages 3-17 for select on-campus events.

Gate Opening

Unless otherwise stated, gates open one hour prior to the start of all Georgetown University Athletics events.

Exit and Re-entry

Re-entry is allowed for Georgetown Athletics events​.  Guests must show their ticket stub to re-enter.

Bag Check

Any bag that is allowed into Georgetown University Athletics venues is subject to a bag check conducted by the entity hired by Georgetown University Athletics.

Parking On Campus

Spectator parking is available in the Southwest Parking Garage (accessible via Georgetown University’s Canal Road entrance). Parking at the tailgate sites is prohibited; vehicles found in violation will be subject to tickets, fines and/or towing.

Accessibility

Animals

Certified service animals or service animals in training for guests with disabilities are allowed at all Georgetown University Athletics facilities.  All other animals are prohibited.

Field Access

Only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field during Georgetown University Athletics events.

Banners and Signs

Signs and banners are allowed, however they may not be hung from fencing or obstruct anyone’s view.  They also cannot be commercial or offensive in nature. All signs must be hand-held. Signs or flags on sticks/poles are not allowed.

Tailgating

Responsible tailgating is permitted for Georgetown University Athletics events in specified areas (which vary based on sport and location), which are assigned and approved on a case-by-case basis.

Tailgating is at the sole discretion of Georgetown University Athletics and/or Georgetown Event Management Services (GEMS). University policy and federal law precludes the serving of alcoholic beverages to anyone under 21 years of age. ​Visiting spectators are advised to complete the Visiting Team Tailgate Questionnaire to use University space for tailgate purposes.

Outside Food and Beverages

Sealed plastic bottles containing water are allowed in the stadium. Alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, cans, thermoses, ice chests and coolers are prohibited. In addition, Georgetown University reserves the right to restrict any outside food or beverages.​

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside Georgetown University Athletics venues.

Cameras

Cameras are allowed, however flash photography is not permitted. Camcorders and other video devices as well as tripods are also not permitted.

Cellular Phones

The use of cell phones is permitted provided they do not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment of the game.​  ​

Lost and Found

The lost and found is located in McDonough Arena. For questions related to lost items, please call the Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office at 202.687.HOYA (4692).

Police and Security

Georgetown University Police Department officers may be stationed at Georgetown University Athletics events. In the event of an emergency, call 202.687.4343 to reach Georgetown University Police, or call 911.

Drug Use / Smoking / Tobacco Use

Drug use, smoking (including electronic cigarettes) and tobacco use in any form are prohibited in all Georgetown University Athletics facilities. Violations will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Spectator Conduct

The NCAA promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. Georgetown University Athletics requests your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racist, sexist, homophobic or transphobic language, behavior, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, staff, team representatives or other spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Your tickets to Georgetown University Athletics events are revocable contracts. If the holder’s conduct endangers or disrupts the players, coaches, officials, staff or other patrons, management reserves the right to remove the ticket holder from the premises or disallow entry.

Capital One Arena Spectator Information

Accessibility

Georgetown University Athletics and Monumental Sports and Entertainment are happy to assist those with accessibility needs. Ticket Policy

Tickets to Georgetown Athletic events are a revocable license. The holder, on behalf of the holder and any minor accompanying the holder (individually and collectively, “The Holder”), agrees to all of the terms hereof. By using Georgetown Athletic tickets and entering the arena, field or stadium, the Holder agrees to be bound by all of the terms of this license.

The Holder agrees not to transmit, distribute or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing, or selling) in any media now or hereafter existing, any description, account, picture, video, audio, or other form of reproduction of the event or any surrounding activities (in whole or in part) for which this ticket is issued (the “Event”). This ticket may not be used for any form of commercial or trade purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, without the express written consent of Georgetown University.

Breach of any of the terms of this license, failure to comply with arena rules, or the refunding to the Holder of the printed purchase price of this ticket, shall automatically terminate any rights that the Holder may have hereunder; shall render illegal and unauthorized the Holder’s use of the ticket for any purpose; and shall authorize Georgetown University or Capital One Arena to withdraw the ticket, refuse admission to the arena, or eject the Holder from the arena. Breach of any of the terms of this license shall also subject the Holder to all legal remedies available to Georgetown University, Capital One Arena and their affiliates. Resale or attempted resale of this ticket in violation of applicable law is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation.

The Holder grants permission to Georgetown University and Capital One Arena (and its designees and agents) to utilize the Holder’s image, likeness, actions, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of or at, the Event in any medium or context for any purpose, including commercial or promotional purposes, without further authorization or compensation.

THE HOLDER OF TICKETS VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISK AND DANGER of personal injury (including death) and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the Event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise.

The Holder and the Holder’s belongings may be searched upon entry into the arena, and the Holder consents to any such searches and waives any related claims that might arise against Georgetown University and Capital One Arena. If the Holder elects not to consent to these searches, the Holder will be denied entry into the arena. Unless indicated otherwise, prices include all applicable taxes.
