2016 BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament

Tickets are now available to the 2016 BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament, to be played at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY Wednesday, March 9 through Saturday, March 12, 2015. Don’t miss your chance to see Georgetown, Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Villanova, and Xavier in this incredible tournament!

How To Order
To order tickets, please visit here. You will first be asked to log in to your MY HOYAS Account so that the system recognizes your eligibility as a current athletics donor or men’s basketball planholder.

When ordering tickets, you will have four options:

• $250.00 tickets in rows 13 and higher in the center of the 200 level (Sections 210-212 and 223-225)
• $250.00 tickets in the corner of the 200 level (Sections 208, 209, 213, 214, 221, 222, 226 and 227)
• $200.00 tickets in the end zone of the 200 level (Sections 201-207 and 215-220)
• $125.00 tickets in the 400 level (Sections 413-420)

Upgrades and Seat Locations
Those purchasing the $250.00 seats will be asked whether they wish to be automatically upgraded (and automatically charged the difference in ticket cost) should their current-year athletics giving level qualify them for better seats. Those who select this option and qualify will be upgraded to $350 (200 level center, rows 1-12; 100 level corner/end zone), $450 (100 level corner), $525 (100 level center) or $650 seats (courtside). To view a map of the price levels for this event, please visit here. Of these four price levels, donors will be upgraded to the highest one for which they qualify. Georgetown Athletics expects to be able to upgrade a significant number of athletics donors to the $350, $450 and $525 seats. Only a select few of the department’s largest annual supporters will qualify for the $650 seats. Accounts whose seats are upgraded will be notified in February.

Seat locations will be assigned by the Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office in accordance with annual athletics giving level and cannot be known in advance of receiving the tickets.

Those who select the $200.00 or $125.00 tickets will not be automatically upgraded and will instead receive seats in the sections which correspond with the price level they ordered.

Tickets will be sold to eligible supporters on a first-come, first-served basis until Georgetown has exhausted the allotment provided by the BIG EAST Conference. After all orders have been received, accounts will be prioritized and seats will be assigned in accordance with current-year giving/commitment to Georgetown Athletics (gifts or pledges which apply to the current fiscal year: July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016). All tickets and seat locations are subject to availability.

The deadline to purchase is Friday, February 19.

Ticket Delivery
Tickets will be sent by FedEx Standard Overnight, no signature required in early March. Exact seat locations will not be available in advance of receipt of tickets.

Eligibility
Tickets are only available to a) current donors to Georgetown Athletics who have made an athletics gift of at least $50 on or after July 1, 2015; b) those who have an active pledge or commitment (where pledge payments are scheduled to be made on or before June 30, 2016) of $50 or more to Georgetown Athletics whose pledges are in good standing ; and c) all 2015-16 men’s basketball season ticket holders and mini-plan holders.

Tournament Structure and Pricing
Each all-session ticket book includes one ticket to each of the tournament’s five sessions (Session 1: Wednesday night; Session 2: Thursday afternoon; Session 3: Thursday night; Session 4: Friday night; Session 5: Saturday night). Sessions 1-4 each consist of two games; Session 5 consists only of the championship game.

For the 2016 tournament, there are seven different price levels, ranging from $125.00 to $650.00 per all-session ticket book. For a map of the price levels, please visit here.

There is a $15.00 shipping/handling charge per order for FedEx shipping. There is also a $3.00 service charge per all-session ticket book.
