I am happy to report that all of our athletes reported back to campus in great shape and the early workouts for the men and women have gone very well! Our athletes are excited to be back training with their teammates and looking forward to the first meet. Both of these games were against excellent opponents, and had playoff type feels to them. The boys grew up a little more over the weekend as a result, and I’m hoping the experience will serve us well moving forward. After two 110 minute games over the three day span, we’ll spend a couple of days getting our legs back under us to prepare for our home opener against Harvard on Friday. Continue reading →
Our next pair of games will be our toughest of the year. On Friday, we face off against Virginia Tech, and then play Wake Forest on Sunday at the Hokie Tournament. Both ACC powers will be a huge test for us and we are hoping to continue our good start to year. Continue reading →
In the 2013 season, Georgetown scored a total of 14 goals. This weekend, of our seven goals scored, five different student-athletes found the back of the cage.
