Senior Mitch Hugdahl is part of a 10 member senior class that has engineered the reemergence of the Hoya Men’s Lacrosse under BIG EAST Coach of the Year Kevin Warne. Mitch scored a goal in the Hoyas’ BIG EAST Championship semifinal game win versus Marquette, his fifth on the season. The lacrosse team entered the BIG EAST Championship #12/13 in both national polls with a 9-5 record and will face Denver in the BIG EAST Championship game. Let’s go In the Huddle with Mitch! The five member senior class of Tomas Gomez, Austin Martz, Jared Rist, Tyler Rudy, and Tom Skelly will leave the Hilltop with some impressive accomplishments. They accumulated an overall record of 57-18-14, which are the most wins and fewest losses of any four year group going through the program. They made the BIG EAST Tournament all four years, won the BIG EAST regular season title twice, and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16, the NCAA Elite 8, and the NCAA National Final. Continue reading
