After being named All-BIG EAST Second Team and to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team, Dionna White has continued her success as a sophomore earning her second straight selection to the All-BIG EAST Second Team. Dionna leads the team scoring 15 points per game, while on the defensive end leading the team with 89 steals as the Hoyas finished the regular season with a 17-11 record. Dorothy Adomako earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors in the 2015-16 season after being named Freshman of the Year last season as well being selected to the All-Rookie Team and Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST. Junior guard Katie McCormick has started all 17 games in the 2014-15 season, averaging over 9 points per game. White won her first-career Player of the Week award on December 16 and was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the fourth time this season on January 20. Natalie Butler is the league’s highest scoring freshman and is 5th in the nation for rebounding. Butler is also first among freshmen in national double doubles (she has 14 so far). Continue reading

We have several players earning accolades: Andrea White, Natalie Butler and Katie McCormick were named to the Shootout’s All-Tournament Team for their standout performances during the games.
