The girls are very excited to have finished our non-conference games unbeaten with an 8-0-1 record, but understand that now the conference starts up and we have no margin for error. Everyone associated with this program is looking forward to Saturday. I know our team is excited to play in front of the large amount of alumni and families expected to be in attendance. The Georgetown University Sailing Team began its 2013 fall season with three regattas over the weekend. At the MAISA Laser Eliminations at Navy, three Hoyas competed against 17 other sailors for a berth at the Conference Singlehanded Championships. Continue reading →

Our 7-0 start on the year has started to turn some heads around the country and we were happy to receive a #10 national ranking by Soccer America this week. This is the highest ever national ranking for the program and I know how proud our alumnae are of this. Continue reading →

It always seems like the first few weeks of school and practice take forever, but then the racing starts and time seems to fly! We were happy to welcome all of our very talented and accomplished incoming freshmen to campus and get them up to speed as quickly as possible. Hoyas Unlimited announced Thomas A. Wong, O.D. (C’82) as the 2013 recipient of the J. Gregory Carroll Award for outstanding service to Hoyas Unlimited and Georgetown Athletics. Dr. Wong will receive the award at The Annual Fund for Georgetown Athletics and Hoyas Unlimited’s 27th Annual Athletic Recognition Event on Friday, September 27. Continue reading →
