The team played some wonderful soccer and the future looks bright, as we had four freshmen and two sophomores start, which bodes well and we are already looking forward to spring season. We know we would never have managed to achieve all of this without your support and we truly stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. Continue reading →
Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you will probably have heard by now that we had a successful visit to Morgantown, WV this past weekend for our NCAA First Round match. Facing off against national power #7 West Virginia University, we headed west knowing we would have to battle hard to get a result against the two-time Big 12 Champions. Continue reading →

On Friday night, we faced off against my alma mater, Seton Hall, in a must win contest as we chased a good seeding in the BIG EAST Tournament and looked to build our resume for the NCAAs. DePaul’s earlier win over St. John’s meant that if we won against the Pirates, we would finish second and get a bye in the first round of the conference tournament. Continue reading →
This past weekend, we only had one game and came away with a 2-0 win over a dogged Duquesne team. This was the last of our non-conference games and we finished that slate of games with a 5-2-2 record. To be fair, it is kind of where I expected us to be right now. Our non-conference schedule was rigorous with some tough games, but also had the added challenge of playing six of those away from the confines of Shaw Field. Continue reading →
